Altius Intelligence is part of Altius Central, a Chandler, Arizona software company, and is the side of the business dedicated to teaching. We exist for one reason: to help business owners and their teams become genuinely fluent in AI, at a moment when almost everyone is being sold shortcuts instead.
Fluency, not phrase books
The market is full of AI training that hands you a list of prompts and a promise. We think that is the wrong path, because it misunderstands the tool. AI is not a search box you feed the right magic words. It is closer to a colleague, and the people who learn to work with it as one pull steadily ahead of those still typing commands and hoping.
So we teach the conversation. How to brief AI, push back on it, refine what it gives you, and shape the result until it is genuinely yours. We lead with Claude, the tool we build our own working lives around, and show how it orchestrates the wider landscape of Gemini, ElevenLabs, and Kling. Four genuine tools, learned properly, rather than forty apps half-understood.
Grounded in the Approachable series
Our classes are built on the ideas Christine Ely set out in the Approachable books: short, honest, practical guides to the software that actually runs modern business, written by someone who uses these tools every day with real clients, not by someone reviewing them from the outside. They are designed to be read in an afternoon and worked from for years. Two are published, with more on the way, and every attendee of our classes takes home all three of the current titles.

Altius Intelligence is managed by the leadership of Altius Central, three people who use these tools in a working software business every day, not consultants describing AI from a distance.
Kevin Mitchell
Kevin leads Altius Central and brings AI into live commercial and residential real estate practice. In our classes he demonstrates Claude at work in a real profession, turning scattered information into polished documents, reading dense contracts, and producing real analysis.
Christine Ely
Author of the Approachable series and a software developer, CRM specialist, and consultant with more than twenty-five years building the systems small businesses depend on. Christine leads the teaching and uses AI every day in real consulting work, which is exactly how she teaches it.
Dirk Binnema
Dirk runs operations for Altius Central, and makes sure the classes run the way they should, from the venue to the experience on the day. He brings the practical, operational view of how AI earns its place in a working company.
